Getting to Berlin this morning didn't go as smoothly as it should have done. The trains were in chaos and instead of a direct train from Essen to Berlin I had to go to Dortmund and pick up a later train. But I did make it to Berlin in the end and found our little flat in Kreuzberg. About an hour after I got there, Russell arrived:) We went out for some tapas and then went for some drinks in a few of the local bars. Smoking is allowed, much to some peoples' excitment!
