To swim or not to swim

The last day of November and a stunningly beautiful afternoon. I took a walk in my local country park at Mugdock. I could have uploaded a dozen pictures - a horsewoman rising across the moor, a backlit flock of sheep against the backdrop of the city, swans aswimming, the castle and clouds reflected in Mugdoch Loch as the sun set.

However, I liked this shot of the little dog contemplating a swim. The low sun was striking the Campsie Hills and the calm water at the edge of the loch reflected this wonderful colour. Seconds later the dog received a word of encouragement from its owner and off it went charging into the water. The calm was shattered!
