Grandpa's veggie garden
I knew today's market was going to be an extra busy one, so I took advantage of the soft early morning light as we drove away from the dairy with our heavily laden trailer. Grandpa's "hok" (cage) was erected primarily to keep the monkeys and baboons from sampling his vegetables, although once a baboon did manage to figure out the gate clasp. Upon being discovered, the panicked animal flattened the beds in an attempt to get out. New, more cumbersome, locks were installed and have done the job so far.
Grandpa can't resist sowing a few flowers amongst the vegetables.
