A view from Ukko-Koli

This is a view from Ukko-Koli towards the southern end of lake Pielinen. First thing we did on Friday after arriving to Koli was to visit Akka-Koli, Paha Koli and Ukko-Koli peaks. After that we got the keys to our cottage and dropped our luggage there. Then we went to search for something to eat and first drove to Koli harbour. The restaurant in the harbour is only open during June-August so we in the harbour as well. After finding a dinner place we drove to a nearby municipality of Juuka and the old part of the village centre where there's about a dozen old wooden building and an old timber rafting chute and a small rapid. After returning to Koli we just drove around for a bit and went to Räsävaara observation tower which provides great views over the area. Finally we made it back to the cottage and BBQ'd some sausages and warmed up the sauna. Dad and I also dipped in the chilly water. The cottage was very nice, the view across the pond was amazing, with Verkkovaara hill and a tall antenna tower rising in the horizon.
