Lantern Parade

Today was the Christmas light, switch on in town. It was a nightmare getting into town from Melksham as roads are closed due to the lantern parade, but we made it!

Schools and individuals make paper lanterns and then parade from the town hall to the Wharf to collect Santa and then meet at the Market place for Santa to turn the lights on. Town was heaving with people but as we walked to the Market place we spotted this Elephant waiting for the rest of the parade!
