Aw Shucks...It's Raining.

We have had a good 24 hours of wild windy weather across many parts of the country. The wind was so wild that Christmas street parades had to be cancelled and the ferries were cancelled and so it went on… When the nor-west wind died down here we had a bit of a rainstorm…quite a downpour.
I met Maisie the Beagle puppy in town this morning. Her owner had just put her back in the car. She was very puzzled because there was all this interesting wet stuff on the window and she was unable to lick it up. You can just see her little pink tongue giving the glass a good licking.
