Tahoe Sunrays
This morning my brother and I were still trying to make sense of the world. Our father had suddenly died in the night, and we found ourselves just gazing into Lake Tahoe's endless blue waves. It had been windy the night before, and we happened upon a bush that had been splashed upon in the freezing night temperatures. It was beautiful, even then in that morning. That moment gently reminded us that the world will always be beauty and pain, and we will see our dad again when our time comes. Every sunrise is a new promise to each of us...
