Thinking..

Incredibly busy day in Halifax , Nova Scotia including meeting several Ministers (in the new Provincial Government which has just taken office) along with several senior civil servants, discussing business links with a group of senior figures from commerce , seeing some seriously impressive collaboration with Scotland on marine energy and delivering a lecture on the constitution at Dalhousie University.

The day was clear and cold but as we arrived at the airport to fly to Toronto this evening it started to snow.

Then when we got to Toronto we heard the dreadful news of the accident in Glasgow and have been thinking of little else since.
