I am the lizard king ....
As the hot weather arrives lizards are appearing. This little fellow (about a foot long snout to tail-tip) with his shimmering green coat is the Liolaemus lizard (Liolaemus liolaemus), an iguanian lizard endemic to South America. One of a couple of hundred subspecies of Liolaemus - don’t ask me which!
