A son's love

Went to my friends funeral on Thursday morning.

I thought I was doing okay, until his son smiled at me on the way in to the funeral. He was so happy to see so many "friends" there.

He's holding up so well, so all we can do now is try and be there to offer as much support as we can

Some lovely words spoken at the funeral, but unfortunately I could not go to the wake afterwards.

The words from his son are as follows:

"Daddy now you are a star in the sky, and will watch over me. I love you so much"


Rest in peace Mark, but know that you will be missed by all your family and friends.
