Advent 'Stable'

This afernoon the school held it's Advent sharing assembly. Alongside the Advent Candle wreath Miss Davis had set up her family 'crib'. What I really liked is that it is clear that the family / animals live in a cave. There is a fairly secure basis for saying that this was the case in the 1st century. I have seen families living like this now in even in Jerusalem. By the way the animals were placed in the stable as part of the Collective Worship this afternoon.
