CROSSING

I was trying to decide
What the light was going to do?
Ominously grey clouds rolling in.
Rain started to lash down.
It had been cold all day.
No way was I standing around on the beach getting wet.

Wind had slowly been building
Going to be a quiet night in.
Warm and cosy in front of the fire.
I headed off to HMV for a DVD
M&S for a meal for two for a tenner.
Christmas lights for a blip.

Loved the shadows dancing in the street.
Must be Black Friday.
