Baby Rose

Annick had her baby just after I left to be with Cat in NYC. Nine days late she went into labour on the eve of her induction date. I am so pleased she got to have the natural birth she had dreamed of. I was very sorry not to meet Baby Rose straight out of the oven. I plan on photographing her every week of her life for as long as she will let me.

We had planned on a proper family portrait today but the little Miss was having no part of it. She fed endlessly and needed patting and jiggling every time her Mama put her down. So just this quick shot at a very high iso in front of the window, just as dusk set in. I plan on going back this weekend to try again.

Rose was my grandmother's name.
