Mr Widgeon
Took my dad out for lunch today. It was cold, grey and very windy, so we didn't head off for the hills. We went to Carsington Water, a reservoir just out side Ashbourne in The Peak District.
The only wandering we did was around to the bird hide and even the birds weren't happy with the weather either. We spied a cormornat fishing, a Crested Grebe, a Little Grebe, a few lapwings, coots, and widgeons. This was taken through the glass window. Not much in the way of POs today.
