Knees in the lake

Woke up to a lovely sunny but cold day , this is the view from our friends' lake house,
it has been drained for maintenance work but still looks kind of magical with all the
Mangrove stumps (called knees) showing.

Big family gathering going on and a VERY large turkey and all the trimmings and
side dishes imaginable .
It helps to be with a family when ours are all so far away.
