Sunny & cool, no barbie today, but outdoor furniture has been purchased, transported and nearly assembled. Now we're waiting for higher temperatures.
Less and less time is being spent like on the above picture. But it was enough to put an annoying song into my head for the whole day (oh no no no! stick to the status quo)

I had this little adventure today. I was sent on a mission to get some wire-wool, spectacles fixing kit and and some stubbies of beer. Booze is easy, fixing kit impossible to find and wire-wool or as it's called here steel wool comes in wholesale packages. I found a couple of rolls lying on the floor, as that's how much was needed. I knew it would take the teenager on the till a lot of effort and time. But I counted on some common sense. A teenage supervisier was summoned and advised me that they are not allowed to sell these individually, just in packs (of 16!!!). When I asked if she would be putting these two in the rubbish bin, she said yes. Does that make any sense to anybody?

PS
Check out my shiny floor!
