Love Pie
My Japanese friends let me borrow their nice kitchen to make my pie for the potluck thanksgiving dinner tomorrow. In exchange I taught them how to make pie and made one for them to eat (and then helped the youngest study for his English test). Fair trade, plus I got to taste test the pie before taking it to dinner tomorrow.
I could tell something was off when rolling it, but didn't know what. Everyone liked it, but I still think something's funny about the crust texture. It's passable but not my best. It passed by Japanese standards, we'll see how my fellow Americans like it tomorrow...
If you can't tell there is a heart drawn into the crust.
