Porty People and Places
The eight positive degrees belie the north westerly wind chill. Not a day for sitting on a seafront bench but one for a quick blip and run! This shadow of the bench on the sea wall reminds us that we are well on our way to the winter solstice. I was also thinking that these rays, travelling 93 million miles across the universe to reach us, weakly here in Porty, were not likely to have been exactly the same ones that put paid to the hope that Comet Ison made it round the sun today. There is nothing black about this Friday. To hear that shoppers have been breaking each others limbs to grab the bargains today is a very black outcome from today!
