Joy to the World

Kindergarten Christmas plays are, well, good fun. It was a cold day and the 'theatre' is basically outdoors under a large roof but the kids were thrilled to do their best for their parents! And so here is a a shot taken from the very back of the theatre.

I had hoped to get our son Daniel into today's blip but all of his shots were not as interesting as this.

I love how the kids are pointed in all directions, doing their own thing and yet (in their minds) they were all singing together. And then there are the parents from the digital age getting their kids on phone/ipads/cameras and video. I had originally cropped this shot to exclude the parents but they add to the whole mix.

Daniel is now asleep, it has stopped raining...and in 4 hours time my wife and I will go to our second Christmas play and watch Njambi. Tis the season!
