Skirts and sewing machines

My friend Jill and I went to a simple skirt making class in Blackburn run by SAMS. We were both uncertain with the sewing machine, but the tutor was friendly and patient and we both ended up with a skirt at the end. I used a charity shop old Winnie the Pooh quilt cover to make my skirt, and Jill used shot silk fabric from SAMS.
