Oxford

Hi Tom

Had a lovely day in Oxford. It didn't take too long to get there either.

I went with my friend julie. We did one of the city Bus Tours which I think is always the best thing to do to get around. We had a really lovely man called Doug who was the tour guide. He told us so much about Oxford, the people, the buildings, it was so interesting and he had a voice I could have listened to forever.

I loved the way everyone gets around on bicycles. I had bicycle envy. I so wish we had more cycle paths here in Chelmsford so that people can use their bikes more. We don't even have anywhere we can chain bikes up even if we do cycle into town, unlike Oxford as you can see. This was taken outside the railway station.

It was a bit of a mad dash to get back as we were going out for a meal with our other friends. We were about 20 mins late but it was worth the effort as the meal was lovely.

It's been a very busy but good day.
