Barcelona street music

It was open night on the streets of Barcelona last night with music that was loud and got louder filling the streets. Great colour and panache. Pure carnival.

Ate at the delightful Principal and then emerged into the night way past midnight to find it just as loud and busy as 9pm. Eventually returned to the hotel to find the style crowd had arrived for a private party. I sneaked in whilst the doormen was telling my pals they could not attend, and stood in the middle of a vibrant and fiercely attractive crowd, a foreign tongue filling the air whilst I politely smiled at one and all.

It was a good night.
