Ooh La La, Pumpkin Pie!

My mother on the left, visiting from France and ready for new experiences, had a day of firsts: first Thanksgiving, first cranberry sauce, and here first taste of pumpkin pie. My friend on the right was "bridging cultures" by offering a piece of the traditional American pumpkin pie.
Let's just say, apple tart won't face a fierce competition any time soon.
