A Pretty Pest

This is a Rhododendron Borer Moth. I think!

I've never seen one before. I really like it's pretty wings, and fan tail!

Apparently there's not many photographs of live borer moths on the internet, so I'm pleased to increase the number.

This one flew into the sunporch, and was resting on the window. After I took the photo, I let it go, outside.

Pippy's got worms, and it's really disgusting! I gave her some worming paste this morning, but she threw up a short time later. The vet said to keep an eye on her, and give her a worming tablet in a couple of weeks.
Apparently it doesn't affect the kittens, which are now starting to eat solid food, but they're only having a tiny nibble at the moment.
