Winter flora
Tucked away in a quiet corner of Brighton's Preston Park, Preston Manor's walled garden is a largely ignored little enclave - despite the traffic thundering past outside it's peaceful and, this morning, full of birds. It has an air of benign neglect; hence the plants awaiting dead-heading.
(Shot with a Helios 44M 58mm f2 lens - one of my small collection of ancient Soviet manual lenses - hence the slightly weird and swirly bokeh)
