Hanging Kitchens

Bringing my son Marc to a friend in Delfzijl this morning, I passed the village of Appingedam. Not beïng in a rush as usual and enjoying this wonderfull, sunny day in september, I took a little walk thrue the village. These old Dutch houses were build in the 18th century. The kitchens are partially hanging over the water.
