Don't do it.
I wasn't sure whether to blip about what happened yesterday, but today I feel like I need to.
Yesterday I stopped a young woman from throwing herself out of a window, 9 storeys up off the ground. She had been sat on the window ledge, with the window wide open behind her when I walked into the room. I tried to talk her into coming off the ledge and into safety, but she lunged backwards and I ran and grabbed her legs.
I gripped her feet between my thighs, held her legs with my hands while she struggled and I SCREAMED for help. Thankfully, people heard me, and we dragged her back into the room.
She's safe now.
I didn't sleep much last night. I kept waking up in a state of sheer panic. I hope tonight is better.
You never know what other people are feeling. If you need help, please ask someone for it. You're never alone.
