Weekly ramble
We have a talented bunch of local volunteers who work tirelessly mending dry stone walls, rejuvenating old paths and laying hedges, as you can see in this photo.
Hedge laying was apparently once a traditional craft used on a regular basis to breath new life into a hedge and create a natural stock proof boundary.
The group are so popular that they have to turn potential new recruits away!... That lets me off the hook then!
