While or Whilst?

I wasn't feeling well earlier today, but am much better now. I found only light coming into the house for this shot, whilst I missed a spectacular sunset while on the phone. Shame I can't use my wife's shot of it. I've been trying to get her onto blip but she's seen what it's done to me so I don't expect to succeed.
