It's not often I'll go out of my way for a Blip, but today was an exception.

Driving north out of Edinburgh after a lunchtime meeting, the sun appeared as it fell below the cloud line. The light was unusual.

I had a hunch it would be best down by the shore, so got off the motorway and took a wee detour. It was worth it.
