Dimbola Lodge
Wednesday is the meeting night of the Isle of Wight Digital Imaging Group (IWDIG). The clubs meeting place is at the Dimbola Lodge Photographic Museum which is a large house at Freshwater Bay once owned by the Victorian pioneer photographer Julia Margeret Cameron.
This is part of the rather splendid stained glass front door.
For anyone interested in the early days of photography the museum is well worth a visit and holds many exhibitions and displays throughout the year. There is also a highly regarded cafe in one of the main rooms.
