The Old Jetty

This jetty was used as a service point for flying boats during WWII.

We had planned to go across to Hoy tomorrow to help organise the Book Launch (by Pearl Sinclair) and other festivities at the Hoy Kirk on Friday evening. However the forcaste (severe gale) means the boats may be cancelled so we are just packing things now to get the afternoon boat.

Another dull day.
