New door at the Scottish Parliament
Paid a visit to the Scottish Parliament this morning to take a look at the Andrew Carnegie exhibition which is on there. There's a set of robot bagpipes in the exhibition, and if you visit on a Saturday at 12:30 you will hear a demonstration of the apparatus. McBlare the Robot piper comes with a warning: The performance involves the playing of real bagpipes and will be as loud as a human piper. Unfornately NO PHOTOGRAPHY of the exhibition. I hate it when that happens, as I often get more enjoyment from reflecting on what I've seen after the visit. In other news, we had our annual Visit Scotland inspection today at Craigwell Cottage, and it was ScotlandHour on Twitter this evening. The latter so successful that we had over 2,000 Tweets contributed about St Andrew's Day. What do you do to celebrate our national day?
