Butchered

Let me start with an apology / warning to any non meat eating viewers of this Blip!

I came across this scene today near St Paul's in the New Change Shops. This butchers is part of a newish restaurant, Barbecoa, founded by Jamie Oliver. The butchers is huge by any standards. The restaurant specialises in 'fire based cooking....using exceptional produce.'

It must be good because the place was packed. There were quite a few spectators outside just watching the butchers working.

I found the scene striking. You don't really see butchers working anymore. They're usually tucked away in the back shop or in a factory hidden well out of sight. These guys ply their trade in full public view.

I'll maybe contact them and ask if I can go back with my real camera and take some proper photos!
