Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is not a traditional NZ celebration however one of my colleagues (who lived in the US for a while) thought we should celebrate it this year as the most recent member of our team is from the US. She's only been with us a few months and Sue thought it would be an appropriate gesture.

Sue bought in pumpkin pies, fruit cake and two rocky roads, this one being white chocolate, pistachios, marshmallow and cranberries. Delicious and a feast for the eyes too I thought.

Sue also arranged a collection for Cholmondeley Children's Centre and the box was full of such goodies as craft supplies, shampoo, DVDs, hairbrushes and much more.

I give thanks for thoughtful and caring workmates.
