Great day with Reuben who's off school. After a Dr's appointment to check on his hearing implant, we checked out the truly amazing new Tongva Park in Santa Monica today which overlooks the ocean with nature trails, rock climbing walls, slides, little hills to run up, tumbling bougainvillea and native SoCal trees. Under such a warm and blue sky, we were in heaven. Home to news about the black tie gala for the Make a Wish Foundation where Reuben will be one of 30 children being honored as celebrate 30 years of Wishes being granting in LA and that's a staggering 8,000 children's wishes. I guess I need to find a cocktail dress, right? So a good day tempers the news that our dear neighbor Judy Mark & Co are moving today, albeit just a mile away. Judy mentioned this morning that I'll be the only one she won't miss on account of getting all my news first hand here on FB anyway. True… I'll miss the sound of your voices and the boys calling out "Judy……." I'll miss looking out of my office window at night and seeing your office light on too just across the fence. Oh and your pool, but that's just being greedy. Thanks for being such great neighbors and for tolerating our noise. (PS Is your new pool any warmer?) God, I'm a nostalgic one...
