Up, up and away!

I saw about a dozen balloons in the sky today when I left work. I got my camera ready (ie took it out of its case) and set off home. I stopped en route and took this of one of them.

Apparently there has been a lot of balloon activity all week. Is it me or is there something spooky about seeing a lot of them at once?
