Bought this book yesterday in Shoreham.
This place has many claims to fame, not least as a cradle of the early film industry. More info here. Bungalow Town started with converted railway carriages, and, attracted by the wonderful light, became the site of the studios of early film companies such as Sunny South Films (1912 -1914), Sealight Films (1915 -1916), and Progress Films (1918 - 1922). Names such as Ida Lupino, Marie Lloyd, Hetty King, and Florrie Forde were associated with the studios.
