"What in the hell are you doing ?"

This is Jinxy's "What in the hell are you doing ?" look that he gives me when he cant understand what I am doing, in this case laying down on the ground in the woods!

You may guess that photographic opportunities were few and far between this morning and he had just spent the previous 15 minutes playing hide and seek with me in the wood. No you cant believe it can you! He runs on ahead and (tries to) hide behind a tree and in the process dropping his ball which rolls away or he lays on it. Then when I appear he cant find it and I have to stand and wait while he does.
The fact that he cant find it is obviously my fault and I get a sad look while he trots off again.

You would not believe that in my time I have been a member of an elite branch of our armed forces, served my Queen in the Office of Constable and now in my dotage, here I am crawling about the woods playing hide and seek and conversing with a spaniel!!!

It will be the little green van coming to collect me next, its only a matter of time!
