“I’m in a band, a one-man band, and I’m only here for 24 hours, bye!”

A very brief encounter today as Kim was rushing around town and he had literally 24 hrs in the city.

In the short conversation I had with him, I found out his name was Kim (I always thought that was a girl’s name, but apparently not), he was Australian and he’s a musician.

He cut me short when I started asking him more, apologising that he didn't have the time, he was very nice about it. I appreciated then that the time these nice strangers afford me is precious.
