Galatea

Trinity House which maintains light houses and buoyage around the country is based in Harwich . The channel buoys are lifted , painted and then repositioned by dedicated vessels to mark the channels and hazards round our coasts. The Galatea was tied up today and loading freshly painted buoys . You can just spot a lightship tied up alongside which is also looking very smart.
I'm sorry not to have been commenting very much recently.We are trying to get Ben and Becky's bed finished so I have been very busy sanding ,filling and painting while the maestro does the excellent woodwork . I will try and catch up with all my lovely friends soon :))
