Arts and crafts

Tonight the kids have been choosing which bits of their art work they want to put into their scrapbooks and which photos they want included as well. I love how well they have embraced the idea of a scrapbook and are really taking ownership of their own books. It's lovely, and even better will tick a few ofsted boxes when they finally get around to inspecting me.

I've been busy today. I went a bit OCD with the cleaning and my front room sparkles...well it did until all the kids came! I've also baked some gingerbread men to be decorated tomorrow. I have also cooked a roast for 7 kids and me and hubby! Plus been to the midwife with my sister and had my fasting blood test. Busy day!

And even better...it was my wedding anniversary yesterday so I am officially allowed to get excited about Christmas! My Scrooge of a husband won't let me until after our anniversary!!!! 4 weeks to go....not that I'm counting or anything!!!
