Storm's turn
Damp start to the day so we went to the nearside of Abbot's Wood with the intention of walking along the stone track. Too many people and dogs for my liking so we diverted through to the centre of the woods which is little used, surprising really as it's the nicest part. I once saw the blur of a deer with Peanut in hot pursuit.
Near the lake we went to see what the Forestry Commission workforce had been up to. They have cleared a huge area by the side of the lake overflow. Storm decided it was his turn to be photographed by water and obliged me with a pose.
We walked back on the stream side of the lake, which again is underused and therefore a favourite of mine. The puppies managed really well with the fallen trees under and over and didn't get tangled up. They really seemed to enjoy the challenge. It made me happy too :)
