Memories of Spring

I'm still feeling pretty rubbish today and managed to edit a few photos but no more than that. One good thing about this house is that there are numerous examples of handiwork, both embroidery and paintings, on the wall, so an "emergency blip" can be achieved.

This is an embroidery in ribbon work with beads and other stitches. The background was taken from a photograph of our garden, so some was printed on the material. (If you hadn't guessed, this is Mum's work.) You can see the beads nicely in the large version.

Had to miss Photo Club tonight, but I just wasn't feeling up to going. I expect to fighting fit again very soon.
