Might be an understatement....

Bridge instruments were showing a 58kt hourly maximum when I came back from a wander into town (having played dodge the wave along the quayside while trying to make some progress against the wind). Suspect the wind at times was significantly more as it was raising spray off the inside of the harbour! Also noticed there were three seperate mooring lines to the bow now...

Glad we're not at sea today.
