Full of character

This is one of a small mixed herd of llamas and alpacas at Floralands, a nursery/ garden centre in Lambley Nottingham.
They keep a small zoo for entertaining and informing children about animals and birds.
In the cafe there is a tame African Grey Parrot that does some remarkable wolf-whistles as part of quite an extensive musical repertoire.
This animal has a face full of character, not the prettiest, perhaps, but very interested in me - perhaps because I might be bearing food.
I think he is a llama, and appears to have a torn right ear as well as an overwhelming lack of symmetry in its facial features generally, but I guess his mother loved him!
Believe it or not, one of the attendants told me that people abuse the animals when the place is closed and quiet, with bows and arrows and various missiles!Aren't some horrid people in the world?
