Camino de Santiago Day 36

The walking was lovely today. We had the option of following the main road but that is not our preference. We like the quiet, rural pathways. It was still a bit of a "waterproofs on, waterproofs off" day. We passed through a tiny hamlet which had this equally tiny church - i couldn't decide whether to post the inside or the outside of the church so the outside is here and i'll post the inside in my blipfolio.

Chestnut trees everywhere! Yesterday we saw one that was supposed to be 800 years old!

Today we walked from Triacastella to Sarria.
5 cups of expresso, 4 fizzy water and 2 glasses wine.
