Playing around

I took the lens from my Dad's 1970s Nikkormat and put it on my D5000 today. It was pretty exciting. Forced me into completely manual mode, but I really did enjoy it.

I'll be playing this game a little more I think.

Book club this evening. We had read The Giver and The Rosie Project this month, neither of which were particularly challenging reads. I found both entertaining enough, although The Giver was also fairly depressing, and we've chosen Tim Winton's Dirt Music for next time. It's nice to be back home to this group - there's a few new people, and a few missing faces, but I really do enjoy our meetings. And not just for the copious amounts of tea and chocolate we go through ;)
