Skeleton warrior

Today, sees me in London again.

This model is part of a dedication statue from one of my favourite childhood movies, Jason and the Argonauts. From the days when movies effects took effort and creativity, none of this CGI rubbish that's over plaguing our screens these days.

The statue is a dedication to Ray Harryhausen, visual effects creator, writer, and producer who created a form of 'stop motion animation' called Dynamation.

Sadly Ray passed away May this year, but his contribution to the movie effects world will always be remembered.
