icy grip

The good news is that the cold front has finally moved on from here.
The ice on the side streets is gone, and even most of the snow in the yards has melted. Just in time for my brother and sister-in-law arriving from California tonight!
But this morning this fountain in Denver still had a massive slab of icicles -reminiscent of a bony hand, don't you think?
